What is the difference between an air quality monitor and an air purifier?
A monitor measures the air, for example Atmocube turns nine sensor readings into a single indoor air quality index, while a purifier cleans it: MedicAir units combine HEPA and activated carbon filtration with UV-C. Many projects use both, so that results can be measured.
What does medical-grade mean on a MedicAir air purifier?
It describes the filtration approach, not a regulatory class: there is no legal definition of medical-grade, and these units are not medical devices. What is checkable is that MedicAir combines a HEPA filter graded under EN 1822, an activated carbon stage and an enclosed UV-C chamber.
