Stadler Form, founded in Zug, Switzerland, in 1998, develops and designs its appliances there. Humidity, dust and comfort in UAE buildings
Air conditioning removes some moisture as it cools, but it may not maintain the desired indoor relative humidity under every operating condition. In humid spells, and in properties that are closed up or face the sea, condensation and damp can form on cold surfaces.
A dehumidifier helps keep relative humidity within the commonly recommended 40 to 60% band, and it speeds up drying laundry indoors. Fine dust, sand and household odours build up in closed, air-conditioned rooms, which is where an air purifier helps. Stadler Form designs these as household appliances: its dehumidifier and air purifier manuals restrict them to indoor use in the home, and Albert's manual says it is not intended for commercial use. Hotels and serviced apartments
- • Noise matters in guest rooms: Stadler Form publishes 38 to 52 dB(A) for Lukas and 38 to 55 dB(A) for Lukas Pro, and on both, night mode dims the lights and sets the speed to level 1. Albert is quieter, at 33 to 44 dB(A), but its manual says it is not intended for commercial use.
- • Each dehumidifier collects water in its tank, or drains continuously through the included hose where a drain is within reach.
- • Lukas and Lukas Pro have a child lock.
Offices and meeting rooms
- • Size by room volume: rated room sizes assume a 2.5 m ceiling, so give us floor area and ceiling height.
- • Air purifiers are sized by clean air delivery rate (CADR) according to AHAM: 231 m³/h for Roger little, 465 m³/h for Roger and 736 m³/h for Roger big.
- • Budget for filters: replacement filters are sold separately and belong in the running costs.
Villas and residential portfolios
- • Humidity tends to build up in villas that are closed up for the summer or face the sea.

Pool halls, spa wet areas and spaces that need ducted dehumidification call for HVAC-grade equipment rather than room appliances; the Lukas Pro, Lukas and Theo manuals require at least 3 m from a bath, shower or pool, and Albert's manual says not to use it near one. Which Stadler Form dehumidifier should I buy?
Choose by room size first, then by noise and features. Lukas Pro (up to 50 L per day, rooms up to 175 m²) is the model for villa living areas, majlis and open-plan floors, and the only one with a HEPA air purifier built in. Lukas and Lukas Titanium (20 L, up to 70 m²) add Wi-Fi app control, a child lock and a laundry mode for apartments and bedrooms. Albert (20 L, up to 70 m²) is quieter than Lukas and Lukas Pro, at 33 to 44 dB(A). Theo (10 L, up to 40 m²) suits small rooms. Compact 10-litre dehumidifier for small rooms
Theo is the compact model for smaller rooms: up to 10 litres a day for rooms up to 40 m², a hygrostat set to 40, 50 or 60% or continuous running, a 1 to 7 hour timer, and automatic shut-off when the 2.1-litre tank is full.

Which Stadler Form dehumidifier should I buy for my home?
Pick by the size of the room first. For a villa living area, majlis or open-plan space up to 175 m², choose Lukas Pro (up to 50 litres per day). For an apartment, bedroom or home office up to 70 m², choose Lukas or Lukas Titanium if you want Wi-Fi, a child lock and a laundry mode, or Albert if the lowest noise matters most. For a small room up to 40 m², Theo (10 litres per day) is enough.
Which Stadler Form dehumidifier is the quietest?
Of the models sold in the UAE, Albert starts quietest, at 33 dB(A) (33 to 44 dB(A) overall), against 38 to 52 dB(A) for Lukas and 38 to 55 dB(A) for Lukas Pro. At full speed the smaller 10-litre Theo, at 42 dB(A), is slightly quieter than Albert. No compressor dehumidifier is completely quiet; the night mode on Lukas and Lukas Pro dims the LEDs, switches the display off and drops the fan to its lowest level.
Which Stadler Form dehumidifiers have Wi-Fi and a child lock?
Lukas, Lukas Titanium and Lukas Pro. They connect to the Stadler Form app or the Smart Life app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and the child lock is set by holding the timer button for three seconds. Albert has neither Wi-Fi nor a child lock.
Do Stadler Form dehumidifiers switch off automatically when the tank is full?
Yes. Lukas Pro, Lukas, Lukas Titanium and Albert stop when the water tank is full and start again when the emptied tank is refitted. They also pause when the room reaches the humidity set on the hygrostat, and each can drain continuously through its included hose so the tank does not need emptying.
Which Stadler Form dehumidifier also purifies the air?
Lukas Pro. It comes with a HEPA H11 filter, a clean air delivery rate of up to 327 m³/h and a particle sensor, and it can purify with or without dehumidifying. Lukas takes an optional HEPA H11 filter, sold together with it as the Lukas Smart bundle. Albert does not purify the air.
What size room can each Stadler Form dehumidifier handle?
Stadler Form rates Lukas Pro for rooms up to 175 m² (435 m³), Lukas, Lukas Titanium and Albert for rooms up to 70 m² (175 m³), and Theo for rooms up to 40 m². The floor areas assume a 2.5 m ceiling, so a room with a higher ceiling needs more capacity for the same floor area.

Fine dust, sand, pollen and household odours build up in closed, air-conditioned UAE homes and offices. Roger little, Roger and Roger big combine a HEPA H12 filter with activated carbon in Stadler Form's Dual Filter, with clean air delivery rates according to AHAM of 231, 465 and 736 m³/h.
Stadler Form's room sizes of 92, 186 and 294 m² assume one air change an hour and a 2.5 m ceiling. For dust control, size for three to five air changes: the manual gives 33, 66 and 104 m² at three. Roger air purifiers
Roger and Roger big measure the air with a gas sensor and a PM2.5 particle sensor; Roger little has a gas sensor. In auto mode, each adjusts its fan speed to the measured air quality. An indicator light on the front shows the measured air quality in blue (good), orange (medium) or red (poor).

Long air-conditioning seasons can leave rooms feeling dry. A humidifier adds moisture back for comfort, towards the same 40 to 60% relative humidity band.
