German ink chemistry for everything you print on.
PRO TECHnology supplies Marabu UV and UV-LED inkjet inks, primers, pre-treatment and post-treatment coatings across the UAE, GCC and wider Middle East, held in Dubai stock, with test prints and adhesion trials before you commit to a production run.
One of the oldest ink houses in the world

Marabu has been developing printing inks since 1859 and remains a family-owned German manufacturer, producing screen, pad and digital inks plus liquid coatings from its plant in Tamm. Its UV and LED inkjet systems are effectively solvent-free, no VOCs released, cured to a hard, scratch-resistant polymer film in fractions of a second.
For printers in the Gulf that matters twice over: no drying room, no off-gassing in an air-conditioned production hall, and finished parts you can handle and pack immediately.
The UltraJet inks we move most of
Choose by machine and by substrate. If your printer runs an OEM ink we can usually offer a tested Marabu alternative, ask us for the compatibility list before you switch.
UltraJet DUV-A
The workhorse. A versatile UV-curable inkjet ink for a wide range of flexible and rigid substrates, compatible with the print heads used on most conventional UV printers, and reliable on difficult materials.
UltraJet DLE-A
The LED-curing counterpart to DUV-A, for the same broad substrate range on UV-LED machines, lower heat into the material, which matters on thin films and heat-sensitive plastics.
UltraJet DUV-MF
Built for hybrid flatbed and roll-to-roll presses. Adheres across PMMA, PP and PE, PC and PET, and onto glass when used with Primer P4. High-grade pigmentation for long-term outdoor exposure.
UltraJet DUV-CP
For single-pass industrial printing straight onto bottles, jars and packaging, glass, PE, PP, PET, ABS, PC and Tritan. Roughly twice the speed at half the ink consumption of standard inks, with a high-opacity 170 White. Formulated without BPA, TPO or heavy metals.
UltraJet DUV-C
Marabu's UV-curable UltraJet ink for direct printing onto formed and rigid parts. Sits alongside DUV-CP in the direct-print family, we hold the current technical data sheet and will confirm printhead and substrate compatibility against your machine before quoting.
Rigid board & panel substrates
What the UltraJet UV flatbed inks are documented on: acrylic and PMMA, rigid PVC and PVC foam board, aluminium composite panel such as Dibond, polycarbonate, polystyrene, corrugated and bee board, plus pre-treated PE and PP.
Printheads & platforms
UltraJet sets are documented across Spectra, Xaar, Konica Minolta, Toshiba Tec CE2 and Ricoh Gen3, Gen4 and Gen5 heads, on flatbeds including Océ, Flora, CET, Mimaki JF and Rastek. Send us your make, model and current ink and we will confirm the match.
UltraGraph UVSP & UltraStar UVS
For shops running rigid boards through screen as well as flatbed, Marabu's UV screen inks for graphics and signage, sharing the same primer and MaraShield coating system as the inkjet side.
UltraJet DUV-RR
A production ink for roll-to-roll machines where consistency over long runs, tension behaviour and edge definition decide whether the job is sellable.
UltraJet DLE-JF, DLE-JX, DLE-LH
Drop-in LED alternatives for Mimaki and Ricoh Gen5 platforms, DLE-JF for UCJV, DLE-JX in place of LUS120, DLE-LH in place of LH-100.
UltraJet DLE-LV
A high-quality UV-LED ink designed for low-migration work, the route to food-contact-adjacent packaging and label applications where standard inks are ruled out.
MaraJet DI-E
An eco-solvent inkjet ink developed to run on printers of any brand, the practical choice for vinyl, self-adhesive and signage shops not yet on UV.
Adhesion is a chemistry problem, not a print problem
If ink is lifting off glass, peeling from polypropylene or failing a tape test, the fix is almost always upstream of the printer. Marabu primers are liquid adhesion promoters, wiped or spray-applied before printing to bond the ink film to the material.
Primer P2
Polypropylene and polyethylene must be pre-treated before printing or the ink will not hold. P2 is wiped or sprayed over the whole surface as an adhesion promoter; the effect is time-limited, so apply no more than one to two days before printing.
Primer P4
The one most of our customers reorder. P4 significantly improves adhesion of UV digital, UV screen and UV liquid coatings on glass, metals, ceramics and plastics. It also strips fingerprints and grease residue, so results stay uniform across a batch. Wipe on with a cloth or spray-apply, wait briefly, print.
Primer P5
Used alongside P4 for direct-to-glass container work with DUV-CP, where the adhesion and dishwasher-resistance spec is highest.
MaraShield UV-PGL
A UV primer for roller-coating flat glass. UV inkjet inks often refuse to adhere to glass; an evenly roller-coated bonding layer of UV-PGL solves it at production scale, and can also be printed edge-to-edge over the image for extra protection and even gloss.
MaraShield, coating instead of laminating
Roller-applied liquid coatings cost considerably less than laminating film and remove the post-print cutting step entirely. Developed and tested with Bürkle roller coaters in Germany.
MaraShield UV-RG / UV-RM
For roller-coating over digital prints on rigid PVC and foamed PVC, PS and ABS, polycarbonate, PET-G, wood and plywood, Dibond and corrugated board. Water-resistant and highly resistant to MEK, alcohols and standard cleaners; 15–25µm applied with a grooved roller is the proven working range.
MaraShield UV-FXG / UV-FXM
The same protection profile for flexible substrates, banners, films and roll media that have to survive handling, installation and Gulf sun.
MaraShield UV-AG
An anti-graffiti barrier for rigid PVC, ABS, PC, PET-G and Dibond. Marker, spray paint and general soiling lift off with IPA or a graffiti remover system without damaging the print underneath, built for transit, street furniture and public-area signage.
ClearShield liquid laminates
Water-based coatings giving film-laminate levels of protection at a fraction of the cost, with UV, chemical and abrasion resistance for banners, wall coverings, canvas and vehicle graphics, applied by liquid laminator or by hand.
Substrates we already have data for
Why source it through PRO TECHnology

We have supplied and serviced industrial printing in this region since 1998, so ink is not a catalogue line for us, it is part of the process we are already accountable for. That means stock held locally instead of a six-week import, sample and adhesion testing on your actual substrate before you buy, correct pairing of ink, primer and top coat for the job, colour matching for brand shades, and operator training at our Dubai demo centre.
