Kaiterra makes indoor air quality monitors for commercial buildings. Its Sensedge range is RESET Air accredited at Grade B and carries IWBI’s Works with WELL mark. Which Kaiterra monitor to order
The three indoor monitors share Kaiterra’s particle, TVOC and CO₂ sensor technology but differ in display, power and connection. Choose by how each space is used and how the building is wired.

In July 2026 Kaiterra released a sensor module that adds ozone, nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide to any Sensedge Mini, including units already installed. Kaiterra says this lets a WELL project meet preconditions A01, A03 and T01 through continuous monitoring instead of annual performance testing.

What a Kaiterra quotation includes
A monitor on its own does not produce usable data. A working Kaiterra system needs the items below, and each one is a line in our quotation.

Warranty. Kaiterra warrants its hardware for one year from shipment. For customers who keep an uninterrupted Kaiterra subscription, the warranty runs to five years from shipment; if the subscription lapses, the extension ends and is not reinstated. The warranty covers the first end user, whether the monitor was bought from Kaiterra or through an authorised reseller.
Approvals and certifications for UAE projects
- TDRA (UAE): Kaiterra lists TDRA approval for the Sensedge, Sensedge Mini and Sensedge Go.
- RESET Air, Grade B: the Sensedge (RM-003), Sensedge Mini (RM-020) and Sensedge Go (RM-056) are accredited monitors in the RESET directory.
- Works with WELL: IWBI’s product licensing mark. It is not an accuracy accreditation, and no monitor certifies a building on its own.
- BTL: the Sensedge and Sensedge Mini are certified under the BACnet Smart Sensor (B-SS) device profile.
- LEED v5: Kaiterra says continuous monitoring with its monitors can earn up to 10 points under the Indoor Air Quality Performance credit in LEED v5 O+M.
We send the certificate or directory listing for the exact SKU with the quotation. For a tender, ask for a compliance statement: it answers each clause of your specification and says plainly if a clause cannot be met.
Connecting Kaiterra to a building management system
Kaiterra states that its monitors integrate with any BMS that speaks BACnet/IP or Modbus, naming Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure and Tridium Niagara, and that BACnet and Modbus run locally on the building network without the Kaiterra cloud. The cloud adds the Kaiterra dashboard, the API and cloud MQTT; the Sensedge and Sensedge Mini also offer on-premise MQTT. For the Sensedge Go, Kaiterra lists BACnet through its gateway as coming soon.
The control logic, such as fresh air that follows CO₂, belongs to your controls contractor. We supply the points list and protocol documents for the SKU you order. In Dubai, Al Sa’fat and the Dubai Building Code set a CO₂ set-point below 800 ppm, an alarm above 1,000 ppm and yearly CO₂ sensor recalibration for demand-controlled ventilation in spaces over 100 m² designed for 25 or more people per 100 m²; HawaQ’s planning guide explains how to configure Kaiterra monitors for it.

Is PRO TECHnology an authorised Kaiterra distributor?
Yes. PRO TECHnology Co. L.L.C., a Dubai technology company founded in 1998, is an authorised Kaiterra distributor in the UAE. It supplies the Sensedge, Sensedge Mini and Sensedge Go, and HawaQ, a PRO TECHnology Group company, installs and supports them.
Where can I buy Kaiterra monitors in the UAE?

What warranty do Kaiterra monitors have?

Are Kaiterra monitors approved for use in the UAE?
Kaiterra lists TDRA approval for the Sensedge, Sensedge Mini and Sensedge Go, alongside CE, FCC and other marks. We send the documents for the exact SKU with the quotation.
Which Kaiterra monitor suits a WELL or RESET project?
The Sensedge, Sensedge Mini and Sensedge Go are RESET Air accredited at Grade B; choose a non-Core SKU, because the Core versions do not measure PM2.5 and cannot cover all five RESET parameters. For WELL, the WELL versions of the Sensedge Mini (SE-200AW, SE-200PW) and Sensedge Go (SE-300W, SE-300WS) add ozone, nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide. Kaiterra says the Sensedge Mini with these gases lets a project meet WELL preconditions A01, A03 and T01 through continuous monitoring; the project’s WELL coach confirms the pathway.
Do Kaiterra monitors measure formaldehyde?
No formaldehyde sensor is listed for the Sensedge, Sensedge Mini or Sensedge Go. Where a project needs continuous formaldehyde data, we can propose the ATMO Atmocube, which measures it, or HawaQ can arrange a laboratory test.
