Why UAE homes need a dehumidifier

Coastal humidity in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah regularly pushes indoor moisture above the commonly recommended 40–60% band. Air conditioning can remove moisture as part of cooling but may not maintain the desired indoor relative humidity under every operating condition. The symptoms are familiar in villas and apartments alike:

Albert removes up to 20 litres of moisture a day, a rated maximum reached from about 22 °C and 70% relative humidity, and is rated for rooms up to 70 m² or 175 m³. Its hygrostat can be set between 30 and 80% relative humidity, or to continuous running: at the target it switches off, then runs the fan briefly at intervals to re-check. Albert is designed by Matti Walker for Stadler Form of Zug, Switzerland, and finished like a design object rather than a site machine: that design won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2013. The unit carries a 2-year warranty, serviced through PRO TECHnology's Middle East service centre in Dubai.
