The problem with masking odours

Conventional toilet odour control leans on fragrance: sprays, gels and rim blocks that add a scent on top of the smell, usually after it has already reached the room, and that need buying again and again.

How AirCube works

• Draws air out of the bowl while the toilet is in use; according to Bellaria, positively charged ions break odour molecules apart and a long-life filter captures what is left
• Starts automatically from a motion sensor, or from its touch panel; afterwards a short cleaning cycle runs with ionised air in the closed bowl, with the lid down
• Bellaria reports a German Innovation Award (2022) and a laboratory test by the Bremen Environmental Institute
• Fits almost all standard seated toilets, according to Bellaria; it cannot be fitted to squat toilets or urinals

Because it treats the air at the bowl rather than layering fragrance over it, AirCube does not add a fragrance. Bellaria sells optional fragrance inserts for anyone who wants one.

PRO TECHnology sells Bellaria AirCube in the UAE through EVO, its online shop, which delivers within the UAE, and can check whether it will fit your toilet before you order. AirCube suits toilets with a limited number of users: it runs on a battery, and Bellaria’s manual says it is not built for continuous use and asks users not to run it more than three times an hour, so we do not recommend it for busy hotel, mall or public washrooms.
